[I haven't even looked at this blog since last year, but in case anyone has....]
HELLO BLOGGER WORLD!
My first Trinidad Carnival was the BEST time of my life! I saw family I haven't seen in years; had my first taste of my favorite rum, Old Oak White; play [cuz I can't swim] on the shores where I almost drown as a child, Maracas; jump up til meh foot hurt; wine for my life... IT WAS A TIME! My favorite party overall was Soca Monarch- We did VVIP, so the free drinks and food [even though we missed most of the food] was well worth the money. Little did we know that the real jamishness is on the ground, so we made it down there pretty late but still had a ball!! But my BEST part of my trip was jouvert with Insomniacs.. I don't even have words for the amazing time we had! All I can say is, we INSOMNIACS fa life!! We played with Legacy which was cool, but I don't think I'd play with them again. I have to big up Foxy and he maxi taxi!! Bcuz after the time I had in Insomniacs and the man I met, I slept for almost 3 hours DURING carnival! LMAO! This year we're trying Ronnie and Caro and we're registered in Saucy in de Marketplace! So Ronnie and Caro, get ready 4 bare wutlessness!!
